The candle-lit concert has become an institution in Somerville since being set up in 2001. It is held every term and run entirely by students, the organisation of the event is then passed down as people leave the college. It is currently organised by Ryan Sutton and Heather Storey. The music played typically ranges from Classical through to Jazz and acoustic guitar and vocals, anything is very welcome! You can always be sure of a great atmosphere at the candle-lit concert, with the chapel filled with candles and fairy lights... and plenty of free wine afterwards.
